On Monday, Year 3 and Year 4 had an amazing day at The Andrew Simpson Sailing Academy on Portland, fully paid for out of our School Sports Premium Funding. After getting our wetsuits and helmets on, we learnt how to 'sail' on the land first before heading to the water in small groups. We loved being in the water and learning how to sail a boat. The children learnt a great many skills on the day as well as learning to sail, including water safety, resilience and team work.  The children fully immersed themselves in this incredible experience - quite literally!! Well done to all the children! Thank you also to Alex Gibson who came to support the children on the day.
