History - Stone Age Hunter Gatherers
Stone Age hunter-gatherers were humans who lived during the Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods, relying on hunting animals and gathering wild plants for sustenance. They were nomadic, moving from place to place in search of food, and their lives revolved around acquiring food through hunting, fishing, and foraging.
In Year 3, we gathered images of nuts, berries and other plants that may have grown during the Stone Age. We researched them afterwards, to find out if they would have actually been edible. Unfortunately, we had collected many images of poisonous plants!
