RE - Humanism
As part of our RE curriculum, we have been learning about Humanism.
Humanism is a way of thinking that focuses on the importance of humans and their lives on Earth. Humanists believe that people should use reason and empathy to make the world a better place, and that we should rely on science and evidence to understand the world around us. They don't believe in a god or an afterlife, and instead focus on making the most of this life.
We welcomed a special vistor, Cathy, who came to tell us about her Humanist beliefs.
