On an afternoon at the end of May, we held our annual May Day. This included each class dancing at least 2 traditional dances as well as dances for family members to join in with too.

Published 24/04/24It was a great privilege for Frome Valley First School to be part of the Dorchester Schools Miles for Mosaic fundraising event. Many schools in the Dorchester area have used the services of the charity Mosaic to support children in their school with bereavement. Overall, 13 schools supported this event.

Published 18/10/23As part of the Dorchester Schools Literacy Festival, Year 1 & 2 visited Thomas Hardye School to hear from the author and illustrator Neal Layton. This was an exciting opportunity to hear from Neal Layton about the process of writing and illustrating a children's picture book.
